Sue-Ham CDC

sueham cdc sue-ham community development center sueham community development corporationABOUT:
The Sue-Ham Community Development Corporation/Center is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization based in rural Williamsburg County in South Carolina.
Our organization engages, inspires, entertains and challenges audiences with theatrical productions that range from the classics to new works developed by the community it serves; we train, support and develop the next generation of theatre artists; we provide arts education programs that promote life-long learning to a diverse and vulnerable community; and we celebrate the essential power of the theatre to illuminate our common humanity. Our organization works tirelessly to strengthen the community and broaden its horizons through arts and education.
Stats have shown that where heavy emphasis is placed on the arts and education, communities tend to have fewer school drop outs and lessen crime. The Sue-Ham CDC is filling a void in Williamsburg County with regards to theatre and Self positive image education.
